I completely agree with the comments already left on the site that the Weyhill Service points (off A303 I guess) would certainly be more adequate for such a development and already has necessary facilities to become more residential and with the instant A303 "access" being highlighted as important to the Show people then this alternative site should be considered before even thinking of putting such a site on natural countryside such as Thruxton Down, where it will clearly will not enhance this place of natural beauty.

There are simply no facilities so this must not be allowed to progress as if this is allowed this will just set a point where we wll start to lose OUR COUNTRY SIDE to eyesores such as these, so please can we all pull together and continue to be constructive on why this should not happen.

It has also been highlighted on the plans that the applicator also has control of the land behind the proposed site which leads the mind to think that surely this site will simply expand to their requirements and before long it will not just house children's amusement rides and I have not seen any restriction to what they can store or add to their portfolio of vehicles and rides................... and then "temporarily" house passing Show people etc etc during the year
The Councillors / Planners should stop and think for the local residents as if this was to be in their "Back Garden" would they be so happy..........
